The very talented Dutch singer/songwriter Danijela Jankovic aka Danéx who’s currently stationed in London is celebrating her 23th birthday today, and since its such a special day for her I decided to put her in the spotlights.
Earlier this year I had my first encounter with Danéx during her performance at the ‘Streets’ edition by Saint Events, which gave me the opportunity to not only fall in love with her sound, but also invite her to my Birthday-Bash back in June where she gave an amazing performance. Not much later she was chosen as one of the Freshman’s of this years edition off the Encore Freshman Tape.
Her musical journey all started at the age of 16, when she signed up for a talent show called “Serbia’s got talent” which was her first encounter in front of an audience. From that moment on, Danéx fell in love with being on stage.
Seven years later she developed to be one of the most talented and promising artists from the Netherlands with her unique sound and style which is best described as Urban-Pop. Her warm tone and raspy, raw voice will immediately grab your attention and her simple but catchy lyrics will very easily get stuck in your head.
With that being said, its time to let her warm voice enter your aura while checking out her music. Keep an eye on her and don’t forget to congratulate her with her 23th birthday !
